ビーズを組み込んだ結び玉にポイントカラーの房のピアス。
目立ちすぎ？と思いきや、絹糸の色味は肌馴染みが良く、顔写りも良く万能なのです。
ボリュームがあるデザインでも軽いので負担なく付けていただけます。
Earrings with a knotted ball incorporating beads and a point color tassel. This is the first time I've ever worn them. But the color of the silk thread blends well with the skin and is versatile enough to be worn on the face. The design is voluminous, but light enough to be worn without strain.
ARTIST PROFILE
「び・あん・香」 小島 美香 （組紐作家）
北海道生まれ。組紐歴24年。
20代の頃に着付けと組紐を学んだ後、札幌や東京の学院で講師を務めました。
「色」の世界の奥深さに魅了され、色彩を学び、カラーアナリストとしても活動しました。
幼少期から「ものづくり」が好きで、着付け講師を退職した現在も故郷の北海道で組紐作品の創作活動を続けています。
日本の伝統工芸品である「組紐」は、しなやかな絹糸の「色」の美しさが織りなす作品の表情がとても魅力的です。
この素晴らしい「組紐」の世界観を帯締め以外の作品でも表現することで、「組紐」に、私が思う新たな価値を吹き込みたい。
そこで、組紐作品の魅力の源である絹糸の「色」にこだわり、アクセサリーやインテリアの飾りなど、絹糸とビーズや天然石との組み合わせで、ジュエリーのような雰囲気を演出し、上品で華やかな作品に仕上げています。
「身につけると気持ちが高まる」そんな魅力あふれる作品を、少しずつですが、一点一点手づくりで制作しております。
